AI Package
The AI Package extends Avendoo with powerful AI functions to support the creation, translation, and optimization of learning content. With Avendoo AI Tokens, you always have an overview of your consumption and, with the help of Permissions, you can control targeted use by the Authors team. On this page, you will find an overview of the functions.

Generate AI image
Create custom images and graphics based on text input to support your learning content.
Generate instructional material
Automatically create structured instructional material and learning content based on documents.
Automatic Tagging
Learning content can be automatically tagged with suitable tags to make organization and findability easier.
AI chat in the Instructional material wizard
Use the integrated Chatbot, for example, to create, summarize, revise, or optimize texts.
In addition, an internal company service can be connected for this function.
Automatic translation
Translate learning content quickly and efficiently into different languages directly within Avendoo.

Text editor with AI support (BETA)
Use AI-assisted writing suggestions directly in the Text editor.
This function is currently only available in the wizard for individual notifications.
AI Token
AI Tokens are the unit of consumption for AI-assisted functions within Avendoo. They make it possible to use AI applications without having to operate your own models or infrastructure. Via the Avendoo AI Package, Users access the provided AI services directly and can use them immediately.
How it works
- AI Tokens are provided anew each month.
- Use is limited to the respective calendar month—unused Tokens expire at the end of the month.
- When using your own AI models, no AI Tokens are consumed in Avendoo.
Overview and consumption control
Authors with the appropriate Permissions can keep an eye on Token consumption. A Widget on the Dashboard for Authors shows current consumption in the ongoing month. Via the View consumption function, or in the main menu via Administration → AI Token, you can access a detailed view where all AI-related processes with consumed Tokens are listed.
Prerequisites
The AI Package Add-on introduces additional Permissions in Avendoo. This gives Administrators the option to assign and provide AI functions and the associated consumption information to specific Authors or author teams in a targeted manner.
