Interfaces and APIs
Avendoo offers a variety of interfaces to integrate external systems and exchange data. In almost all cases, we rely on APIs (Application Programming Interface). This means that there are no proprietary product interfaces in Avendoo; instead, we individually check which existing process can be automated using an API. Avendoo is happy to support you in selecting the appropriate endpoints and setting up the request (e.g., in Postman).
Here is a selection of typical interfaces and use cases that we currently support.
Master Data Synchronization
Avendoo offers an API that makes it possible to import, export, and synchronize data such as user master data.
Authentication
Secure and simple authentication via Single Sign-On (SSO) can be set up using various authentication standards such as OpenID Connect or SAML.
Communication & Collaboration
Virtual classrooms, Microsoft Teams, and other communication tools are integrated into Avendoo as virtual locations.
Receiving and Offering Content
Use the LTI interface (Learning Tools Interoperability) to establish a connection to a content provider and receive learning content. Or become a provider of content yourself that can be accessed in other systems (Microsoft Viva Learning, Microsoft Graph Connector, SAP SuccessFactors (OCN), LTI).
Analytics & BI
Raw data from Avendoo can be retrieved and integrated into analysis tools such as Power BI or Excel for processing.
gut beraten
Avendoo uses a special gut beraten interface for the insurance industry to automatically transmit the training times recorded according to the IDD directive to gut beraten.
Reporting System
The point of departure for many APIs is report favorites, so that everything that can be displayed in a report in Avendoo can also be transferred to other systems via interfaces, e.g., the training inventory.
Billing Export
The costs for an event or a course activation (seminar, e-learning) can be recorded via the billing export and exported upon successful participation.
Userlane
Userlane is a so-called Digital Adoption Platform (DAP). It is a tool that is integrated directly into Avendoo and helps users navigate through the software. Users are guided through processes in real time.
AI Connection
For the use of artificial intelligence in Avendoo, your own AI services such as OpenAI or Microsoft OpenAI can be connected. This enables, among other things, the use of a chatbot, automatic text generation, and AI-supported translations in Avendoo.
