OpenID Connect is an authentication protocol based on OAuth 2.0 and enables Single Sign-On (SSO). It allows the identity of an end user to be checked by an authorization server (IDP) and also provides basic user profile information. In systems such as Avendoo, OpenID Connect can be used to create or update user accounts if they do not yet exist. Configuration is done via the SSO and Import wizard.
