Logic of General Permissions and Object Permissions
Object Permissions are permissions that you can extend directly on a category or an object. General Permissions are usually assigned manually directly on the user account or by assigning a Permission Group.
Object Permissions are very closely related to General Permissions. General Permissions define what users are allowed to do in general. Object Permissions make it possible to extend these General Permissions once more. If you want to restrict permissions or access, you must set the minimum standards extremely low in a first step and, in a second step, grant more rights to individual persons or groups of persons via General or Object Permissions. This means you cannot directly withdraw rights from Person A; you can only grant more rights to the remaining Persons B to C and thereby restrict the access of Person A.
