Training plans

A training plan in Avendoo is a structured sequence scenario that combines several course activations. It is used to provide learners with multiple learning units bundled together and in a specified order.

One or more connections can be created between the individual course activations. The processing sequence in a training plan can be defined via connection lines. This allows for the creation of different learning paths that nevertheless lead to a common goal.

A training plan with connecting lines is successfully completed as soon as all Course activations on a continuous path have been completed. Course activations that are not connected to this path are considered optional. If no connecting lines are used, the training plan is considered completed as soon as all included Course activations have been successfully completed.

Registration for a training plan takes place either manually or automatically using participant rules. Registration for the course activations within a training plan is controlled centrally by the training plan. As soon as a user of a training plan clicks on a course activation, they are automatically enrolled in that course activation. The default registration control settings stored in the course activation (e.g., processing mode: Optional or Required) apply. Additional participant rules in course activations are not required for registration via a training plan.
