Education Inventory Export

Education inventory entries are often required not only centrally in Avendoo, but also in other systems such as CRM or master data systems. An education inventory export is particularly useful if this information is to be used in external systems for further processes that do not take place in Avendoo – for example, for billing, electronic personnel files or talent management systems.

Export options

Avendoo offers the following options for transferring education inventories to an external system

Avendoo Report

The report Dynamic education inventory entries of a user client logs all completed course releases and training plans, participation in event dates, certifications and qualifications.

You can call up and evaluate a favorite from this report from Avendoo via a REST interface (response as XML or as CSV). You can also call up any other dynamic report as a favorite from the interface.

REST interface

You can use the REST API getAchievements to retrieve the education inventory records as XML.

The startTime parameter specifies the starting point after which the new data records are to be transferred.

JMS interface

Data is transferred via the JMS interface to an openMessage or TIBCO-JMS server, for example, each time a certification is created. This data can then be retrieved by a third-party system.

Please note that the JMS interface cannot currently output all education inventory entries.

Tip

We recommend creating an API author account that is only used for the interface and not for other purposes. You should assign this account to a permission group that allows the API author to access the corresponding report and the corresponding clients.
