Markdown
Markdown is a markup language that makes it possible to format text easily. For example, to make a word bold, you place two asterisks before and after it.
Example
This text is **bold**. → This text is bold.

Tip
You can find extensive guides to Markdown syntax on the web.
Note
The Markdown Editor in Avendoo does not support the syntax for footnotes and e-mail addresses with < e-mail address: >. Alternatively, you can use the syntax for links as shown in the example.
