Clients

In Avendoo, clients serve to maintain order and divide users into different visibility and rights levels. In general, clients can be viewed as drives in the system on which content, activations, and users are stored. The differentiation between content and user clients enables a fundamental separation of the instructional material from personal data of the learners, such as master data, learning progress, or test results.

Each user is always assigned to a client, whereby authors can be assigned to further clients in order to access them.

Variants of clients

In Avendoo, the basic properties of a client are used to determine whether course activations, users, authors, and content can be created. This allows various scenarios to be realized.

User- and Activation-client

This is where the users and course activations are located. The Activation-clients also determine the appearance of the front end and thus contribute significantly to the user experience. By using multiple share clients, different corporate designs, for example, can be mapped.

Content-client

This is where the learning content (instructional material, knowledge tests, etc.) of the system is located. Usually, the authors are also stored in the content client so that they have direct access to the client.
