Qualifications

In Avendoo, qualifications are skills acquired by completing a learning object. Their purpose is to document and systematically develop employee competencies. As an author, you can define which qualifications are achieved within a learning process for each learning object on the learning path.

Important areas

If you wish to work with qualifications, you will encounter these areas in the system:

Qualification groups

In Avendoo, qualifications are clustered into qualification groups. A typical example is the qualification group “Languages” for all language skills (English, German, French, etc.).

Qualification scale

You can also create scale values for each qualification. A typical example for the qualification “English” are the scale values A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. Generally, all qualifications within a qualification group share the same scale.

Qualification profile

Furthermore, you can create a qualification profile for a position, which describes the qualifications a person should possess to fill that position. For example, the qualification English at level B2 is required for the position.

Qualification matrix

In the frontend, you can compare the qualification profiles of your employees and display them in a qualification matrix. You can find all information about the qualification matrix in the Team Leader Cockpit section.
