Courses
A course in Avendoo consists of one or more learning objects (e.g. Instructional material, Knowledge tests). The learning objects can be arranged in a sequence and set as required or optional. This creates a learning path.
Created courses can be released to users with the help of a course activation. In the user frontend, courses are also referred to as learning units.

Key Components
Info page
The info page is displayed when learners access a course via the homepage or catalog and are not yet participants. Therefore, it is always required.
It contains important information about the course, allowing learners to decide whether to enroll.
Start page
The course start page is displayed to logged-in users when they access the course for the first time. It is optional and can contain introductory information, such as a welcome message or operating instructions.
Users can use the Skip start page next time function to determine whether they want to go directly to the main course page on their next visit.
Main Page
The main page is an important component of a course and contains the Learning path as a central navigation element.
In addition, it can contain, for example, the course title, a teaser, and a contact person.
Final page
The course final page is displayed when a user has successfully completed the course. A course is considered completed when all mandatory content that must be processed or passed has been successfully completed. Mandatory components are defined by an author in the Course wizard on the Course Content tab.
The final page is optional. If it remains empty, it will not be displayed to users.
Expiration page
The expiration page of a course is displayed when the expiration date for a user has been reached. The expiration date determines until when a user may access the course. A common use case is temporary use, e.g., for one year.
The access duration is set by the author in the Course activation wizard under Parameters → Days until expiration. In the Participant Management of a Course activation, the specific expiration date per user can be viewed and manually adjusted on the Users tab.
