A learning unit in Avendoo is a didactic unit consisting of one or more learning contents. These learning contents can include various formats, for example: events (in-person or online Event dates), e-learning content, combinations of in-person and online elements.

The contents of a learning unit are structured within a Learning path. Learning units can be marked as required or optional. A learning unit is considered complete once all mandatory content has been successfully processed or completed. Multiple learning units can be combined into a training plan to represent more extensive learning programs.
