The system requirements describe the technical prerequisites for the application and installation of Avendoo. Ensure that all requirements are met to guarantee reliable operation.

Client

System requirements for all users (users, authors) in Avendoo

Browser

  • Microsoft Edge: Current version
  • Mozilla Firefox: Current version
  • Google Chrome: Current version
  • Safari: Current version

A banner is displayed on the login page and in the author and user area if an unsupported or outdated browser is detected.

Further requirements

  • For appointment requests in Avendoo’s event management, an iCal-compatible email client (e.g. Outlook) is required.
  • The Progressive Web App (PWA) from Avendoo requires at least Android 11 or iOS 18

Processor

  • Minimum 2 GHz (x64 processor)
  • Minimum 4 processor cores

Operating system

  • Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Current Linux distributions

RAM

  • Windows Server: minimum 20 GB
  • Linux Server: minimum 16 GB

Hard drive

  • Storage: Minimum 60 GB
  • Speed: There is an entry for hard drive speed in the system requirement list. You can check the hard drive speed using the “Test” button. The measured value should be less than the specified value.

Minimum Apache 2.4

Application server

Tomcat 9.0 with at least version 9.0.71 with 4 GB of memory

Database server

Oracle MySQL, version 8

Java

Java 21, Open JDK 17

SSL certificate

Key length of at least 4096 bits, wildcard certificates are not permitted
