Events
Events in Avendoo can be both online and face-to-face events. With the Event Assistant, you can create new events, set up event dates, and design a main page. You also define central settings and notifications for the respective event in the wizard. Find Information here about important sections.
Important Sections of Events
General
Under Parameters → General, you can select the Event type, which can then be used in reports (e.g. sort by event type)
Additionally, you can convert the event with all chosen settings as a template, so that it can be reused without having to choose the settings als over again.
Participants
Under Parameters → Participants, you can make settings for registration options (e.g., whether a participant can register for several event dates).
Here you can decide for all event dates whether attendance tracking should be different from regular (e.g., automatically or via self-recording).
Display
Under Parameters → Display, you can decide whether an Event date list should be visible and how the Event dates should be displayed to participants in the frontend. This setting is often relevant from a data protection perspective, as participant names can be shown here.
Notifications
Under Notifications, you will find important settings for automated notifications related to the event. You can read more about how to work with them here:

Event dates
Under the Event dates section, you edit all Event dates of the event.
In Avendoo, there are Event dates and Event date groups. Event date groups consist of a main Event date and any number of follow-up event dates. Event date groups are thematically related series of Event dates with the same participants. If a different topic and a different group of participants are planned for each Event date, create individual Event dates.
Main Page
Here, use the Move Editor to design an appealing event page that learners see when they click on the event in the learning path.
Click the plus sign or select a design template and design according to your preferences.
If you have activated the Event date list under the Parameters tab → Display, you can manually place it here. To do this, in the Move Editor menu, click Event → Event date list and place the Move element at the desired location. By default, the Event date list appears at the end of the page.

Materials
The required materials for an event, such as projectors, laptops, cables, books, scripts, exam documents, or writing utensils, can be selected and stored here.
Materials can be linked to tasks to inform people about what needs to be provided and when.
Documents
On the Documents tab, you will see the documents that belong to the event. You only add documents in the Event date Assistant.
Afterward, they appear in the event list. You then have the option to call up the associated Event dates via buttons, edit the document, or delete it.
Tasks
Tasks refer to assignments that the owner of the tasks has to complete by a certain date. Avendoo generates the tasks from the task templates. Under this section, you first add a task template and then define the trigger, who needs to complete the task, and when it is due.
