Configuring the Catalog Reload (Catalog.Refresher.Timer)
If the catalog changes for a user during a session, the user is informed and can update it. Use this system setting to determine how the catalog reloads new data.

Go to Administration → System settings and enter catalog.refresher.timer in the filter.

Open the system setting by clicking on the title.

Adjust the parameters according to your needs:
reloadDelay
Determines how old the currently saved catalog must be before a new catalog calculation is started when the user reloads it.
Example
reloadDelay=300
The catalog is updated after 5 minutes.
reloadBlockDuration
Determines after how many seconds the system automatically checks whether a new version of the catalog is available and informs the user.
reloadBlockType
The following options are available:
SKIP
The user is not informed about catalog changes that took place within the period.
DELAY
The user is only informed about catalog changes that took place within the period once the time has expired.
